Frequently Asked Questions

  • No, not at all. In some cases beginners are easier to train as there are no ingrained habits that interfere with learning Muay Thai.

  • On average it may take up to 8-10 weeks to learn the fundamentals and become proficient.

  • You will be emailed the instructions for signing into your online account.

  • Wear general gym attire (shorts, shirt) and bring a towel and water. Spare gloves are available for you to borrow. If you are committing to the training I’ll provide you with recommendations for boxing gloves, handwraps, ankle supports, deodorisers etc.

  • I am located in Miller 2168. As a home business I do not want my location made available to just anyone. After you have booked a session online and correctly filled out your details, you will be provided with the full address.

  • You must provide me with at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your session. If the session is cancelled within 24 hours notice, you will be charged for the session. Please understand that there are limited spots and I need time to find a replacement.

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to train.

  • You will need to complete a waiver form before participating in-person or online training. The waiver form is a standard procedure to ensure your safety and acknowledge the physical demands of the sport. It helps inform you of potential risks while participating and confirms that you accept these risks and are in good health to participate.

  • To be honest, I am content where I am at. I have a simple business model, provide coaching services in person and online, a bit of marketing and admin (assisted by my wife, thankfully because I hate it). Owning a gym complicates things, I lose the 1-1 connections because I need to manage classes and then there’s the overhead expenses to deal with…no thanks.
